This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the Chelae service operated by Plausible Industries LLC ("we," "us," "Plausible Industries"). The AUP is incorporated into the Chelae Terms of Service. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your Chelae account.
The AUP is non-exhaustive. We may take action against any conduct that, in our judgment, is harmful to other users, to us, to third parties, or to the operation of the Service, even if it is not specifically listed below.
1. Prohibited content
You may not transmit or otherwise make available through Chelae any content that:
- Is illegal under U.S. federal or state law, or the law of any jurisdiction in which you reside
- Is defamatory, libelous, fraudulent, or knowingly false
- Is threatening, harassing, intimidating, or hateful
- Is obscene or sexually explicit
- Depicts or solicits sexual content involving minors. This is a bright-line, zero-tolerance prohibition. Violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Discloses confidential information of any third party without authority
- Discloses private personal information about any individual without that individual's consent (doxxing)
- Contains malware, viruses, or other malicious code
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Chelae to:
- Engage in illegal activity, or facilitate or solicit illegal activity by others
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten any person
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or relationship to another person
- Send unsolicited promotional or commercial messages (spam)
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the integrity or security of the Service
- Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, network, or data
- Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise consume disproportionate resources
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the extent permitted by law
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service except as we expressly permit
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent
- Violate any export-control, sanctions, or trade-restriction law applicable to the Service
3. Chelae-specific prohibitions
In addition to the prohibitions above, you may not use Chelae to:
- Direct your OpenClaw assistant to perform illegal acts
- Pair your iOS app with an OpenClaw server that you do not own or have authorized access to
- Authorize HomeKit control of devices that could cause harm if operated incorrectly without independent supervision
- Direct your OpenClaw assistant to bypass safety, content, or access controls of any third-party service or website
- Conduct, facilitate, or instruct others in illegal activity through voice commands, transcripts, or other inputs
4. Reporting violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to:

For child safety concerns, report immediately to the address above and, if applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline at cybertipline.org.
Reports should include:
- Your name and contact information
- A description of the violation and where it occurred
- Identifying information for the user or content involved, if available
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, links)
We may not be able to act on every report, and reports do not create any attorney-client or other confidential relationship.
5. Consequences of violation
When we identify a violation, we may, in our discretion:
- Remove or restrict access to the violating content
- Suspend or terminate the offending account
- Refuse to provide further service to the user
- Report the conduct to law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required or appropriate
- Pursue civil remedies, including under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, state computer-crime statutes, and tort law
We retain the right to enforce or not enforce the AUP in our judgment. A decision not to enforce in a particular case is not a waiver of our right to enforce in any other case.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Updates take effect when posted. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
